Built with HID's Secure Identity Object (SIO®) data model, the multiCLASS SE RK40 provides an additional layer of encryption to help protect credential data and strengthen overall system security. The reader supports Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS, MIFARE Classic, and MIFARE DESFire EV1 credentials and can be configured to support HID Mobile Access, enabling secure mobile credentials on smartphones and other smart devices. Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) support provides secure communication between the reader and access control controller.
