It uses direct thermal printing to provide high-quality patient identification and barcode scanning. The wristband measures 11-1/2" long by 3/4" wide, with a 3-1/2" information area, 1-1/2" core, and 5.85" outer diameter. The wristband features a tamperproof single-post snap closure designed to help prevent transfer between patients. CompuBand wristbands also use a PermaPrint® surface designed for imprint quality and resistance to solvents. The orange configuration corresponds to color code 17.
