CIM ME550 CR80 Data Matrix Metal Embosser is a portable and fully self-contained industrial embossing system designed for permanent marking on CR80-size aluminum and stainless steel tags measuring 85.6 mm x 54 mm (3.37" x 2.13"). Engineered for industrial traceability and identification applications, the system embosses both alphanumeric characters and 2D Data Matrix barcodes on durable metal tags.
The embossed 2D DATA MATRIX™ capability allows large amounts of information to be encoded within a compact space, making the system ideal for asset tracking, component identification, production line management, and industrial traceability applications where durable machine-readable data is required.
Featuring a redesigned platform with advanced functionality and up to a 10% increase in production speed, the ME550 CR80 DATA MATRIX improves operational efficiency while maintaining the durability required for harsh industrial environments.
The system includes a built-in 7-inch WVGA high-resolution color touchscreen with intuitive icons and controls, enabling operators to easily configure and manage machine functions through a user-friendly multi-level menu interface.
Advanced IoT-enabled remote management capabilities allow machine setup and operation through web services or VNC using network-connected devices. Data transfer, machine updates, and file import/export can be managed over Ethernet using FTP, supporting integration into existing factory and office networks.
Connectivity options include USB Type A and Type B ports, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi, allowing connection to PCs, barcode scanners, keyboards, and additional production peripherals as needed.
