CardPresso Upgrade to XS/XL/XXL ID Card Software

CardPresso ID Card Software is a modular credential design and printing solution offering four available editions: XS, XM, XL, and XXL. Each edition provides a different set of features to accommodate organizations with varying ID card design, printing, database integration, and credential encoding requirements.

Please note: CardPresso XXS has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase. Existing XXS users can upgrade to any of the available editions—XS, XM, XL, or XXL—to access additional functionality and expand their ID card production capabilities.

The XS edition expands software functionality with QR code support, document password protection, production mode, and external database connectivity through XLS, XLSX, CSV, and TXT file formats. These features provide improved data handling and help streamline card production workflows.

The XM edition adds MS Access and SQLite connectivity, 2D barcode support, FaceCrop facial recognition tools, and the ability to store photos directly in databases. It is designed for organizations requiring more advanced data integration and automation capabilities.

The XL edition introduces advanced features for more demanding credential programs, including ODBC connectivity, RFID and smart card encoding, fingerprint capture, multiple card layouts, automatic printing, and user permission controls. It also supports internal and external RFID encoding devices for secure credential issuance.

The XXL edition offers the most extensive feature set, including DESFire encoding support, web print server functionality, and network licensing for up to 16 PCs within the same subnet. It is designed for organizations requiring centralized management and scalable credential issuance across multiple workstations.

Existing CardPresso XXS users can select the XS, XM, XL, or XXL edition based on their organization's requirements and the additional features they need.
