CardPresso XXS/XS/XL/XXL ID Card Software
CardPresso ID Card Software is a scalable ID badge design and issuance platform available in multiple editions (XXS to XXL), offering tools for card design, database connectivity, and advanced smart card encoding.
CardPresso ID Card Software is a modular credential design and printing solution that scales across five editions—XXS, XS, XM, XL, and XXL—allowing organizations to choose functionality based on their ID issuance needs. It provides a flexible framework for creating, managing, and printing secure identification cards across small to enterprise-level environments.
The XXS edition delivers core ID card creation and printing capabilities, including template-based design, text and data input tools, barcode support (1D), signature capture, and basic database functionality with an internal document database and photo linking. It also supports WIA, TWAIN, and DirectShow for image acquisition and includes magnetic stripe encoding.
The XS edition expands functionality with QR code support, document password protection, production mode, and external database connectivity through XLS, XLSX, CSV, and TXT file formats. This allows for improved data handling and streamlined card production workflows.
The XM edition introduces MS Access and SQLite connectivity, 2D barcode support, FaceCrop facial recognition tools, and the ability to store photos directly in databases. It is designed for more advanced small-to-mid-scale deployments requiring improved data integration and automation.
The XL edition adds enterprise-focused capabilities such as ODBC connectivity, RFID and smart card encoding, fingerprint capture, multi-layout card designs, auto-print functionality, and user permission controls. It also supports both internal and external RFID encoding devices, making it suitable for secure credential environments.
The XXL edition provides the most advanced feature set, including DESFire encoding support, web print server functionality, and network licensing for up to 16 PCs within the same subnet. It is designed for distributed, high-security environments requiring centralized management and scalable issuance capabilities.
